What is acupuncture?
Acupuncture is a traditional oriental preventive and curative method aimed at improving health and relieving pain.
Energy is the basic "fuel" for the proper functioning of your metabolism; when it circulates smoothly within your body, it helps maintain your physiological, organic and psychic functions. However, when you are upset by overwork, the stress of modern living, a trauma or even emotions, energy circulation can be slowed down or blocked. You then feel fatigue, pain and discomfort.
Acupuncture treats people by working on those energy dimensions and by supporting or stimulating the body to recover its equilibrium, allowing it to manage itself.
Who can benefit from acupuncture?
Acupuncture can benefit everyone. It controls muscular and skeletal pain, the systems (respiratory, digestive, immune, etc.), and moral afflictions (mourning, stress, depression, phobias, etc.)
How can acupuncture help you?
An acupuncture treatment consists of the insertion and manipulation of fine needles into specific zones of the skin, the mucous tissues or the subcutaneous tissues of the human body, called acupuncture points.
